Jersey in June

Jersey in June is buzzing with things to to, but not as packed as in the school holidays, so it's a great time to visit.

All the attractions are open, the weather should be great for walking, there are full programmes at the theatres, and the end of the month sees the popular Sunset walk and concert at Grantez.

Other major events during the month include the Jersey Festival of Motoring , the Jersey Rose and Flower Show, Summer Solstice celebrations, Gorey Regatta and Food Fair, and the Itex Walk - a 48 mile round the Island walk taking anything from 12 to 21 hours.

You can visit some of the Island's best gardens through the open garden programme, watch sand racing, surfing competitions, or take part in any number of watersports and outdoor activities.

If your interest is history, the museums, castles and many of the German fortifications are open throughout the month.
