Jersey Festival of Motoring
The Jersey Festival of Motoring is Jersey's biggest Motoring event. It is believed that Jersey has one of the highest concentrations of collectable cars in the world. The 200 Jersey Old Motor Club members have 450 old cars between them. The Festival sees many of these cars, as well as many visiting cars, take part. The Festival has touring and competetive elements, with clsed-road hill-climbs, sea-front sprints (under MSA regulations), a treasure hunt, car show, concours, and social events. It attracts many spectators. The cars taking part are very varied - although there are always plenty of E-types. There's at least one for every square mile of this small Island! The Jersey Festival of Motoring started in 2000, and is a unique event.
