If you enjoy water sports, you'll love Jersey! With the warmest weather and some of the greatest beaches in the UK, Jersey has an amazing variety of activities on offer.

Whether you are looking for extreme sports, or a peaceful day's fishing, you'll find all the information about water activities in Jersey on these pages.

One of the newest activities in Jersey is hovercrafting. The instructor shows you how to operate the hovercraft, then you get to drive it.

There are water sports schools at several of the main beaches, offering everything from windsurfing, waterskiing and banana boat rides to jetski hire and wakeboarding.

You can hire canoes or kayaks for a paddle round at the beach or to explore some of Jersey's coves and caves.

Jersey has some great surfing - places where you can try out a boogie board or learn to surf like the pros!

Many of the beaches and bays offer safe swimming . There are also indoor pools and a lido pool. Some of the smaller harbours are great for pier jumping at high tide.

You can go on a speed-boat trip, take a trip in a catermaran, learn to dinghy sail or hire a yacht.

A great way to see the marine wildlife around the Island is to learn to scuba dive. There are dive schools and bottle-filling facilities available.

If you want to try extreme water sports, how about kitesurfing or coasteering!

If a quiet day fishing is more your scene, Jersey has coarse fishing, angling and, of course, plenty of coastal fishing. There are organised boat trips if you want to try for a bigger catch offshore.
